INTJ -
Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Judging
As an INTJ, my
primary mode of living is focused internally,
where I take things in primarily via my
intuition. My secondary mode is external, where
I deal with things rationally and logically.
INTJs live in the
world of ideas and strategic planning. I value
intelligence, knowledge, and competence, and
typically have high standards in these regards,
which I continuously strive to fulfill. To a
somewhat lesser extent, I have similar
expectations of others.
With Introverted Intuition
dominating my personality, I focus my energy on
observing the world, and generating ideas and
possibilities. My mind constantly gathers
information and makes associations about it. I
am tremendously insightful and am usually very
quick to understand new ideas. However, my
primary interest is not understanding a
concept, but rather applying that concept
in a useful way.
My
Strengths are...
- I have a creative mind and an
independent spirit.
- Logical and ingenious, I am
confident in my ideas and my ability
to meet or exceed my goals.
- I tend to aim high with
everything I attempt and am driven
to be competent and original in all
I do.
- I have a keen sense of what is
possible and have a global
perspective.
- As an INTJ, I am a good
strategic thinker, looking beyond
what is known and seeing the
inter-relatedness of elements.
Critical and demanding of myself, with
incredibly high standards, I am neither deterred
nor intimidated by opposition. I have great
powers of concentration, and am so determined to
see my vision become a reality, I will work with
tireless energy to turn out a flawless idea or
product
As an INTJ,
I am good at...
- being task-oriented and getting
things done
- brainstorming and strategizing
new ways of doing things
- working alone for extended
periods of time with great depth of
focus
- analyzing technical problems and
using logic to understand them
- looking into the future, seeing
trends, and engaging in long-range
planning
- understanding complex issues and
difficult problems
- taking on intellectual
challenges and using creativity to
develop ingenious and original
systems
- being intuitive and knowing what
will work
- troubleshooting projects and
finding solutions
As A Manager, I...
-
Set very high, but
attainable goals
-
Measure performance and
assist in adjusting workplace performance
accordingly
-
Create or adjust
procedures to maximize performance and/or
potential
-
Guide and mentor
associates based on my experience and
knowledge
